That is the headline number, and it came from two chronographs running side by side, not a factory box claim. The test comes from Nito at AP2020 Outdoors, shooting a Browning X-Bolt Speed 2 in 6.5 Creedmoor at known distances of 100, 402, and 602 yards. He verified zero standing on a tripod, chronographed every string with a Garmin Xero C1 and an Athlon Optics Rangecraft, then fed the averaged velocity into the Shooter ballistic app to build corrections for the longer targets. What follows is the data he recorded on target — dialed elevation, velocity drift as the barrel warmed, and where the rounds actually landed on an eighth-scale deer target at 402 yards and a steel silhouette at 602. Key Takeaways Federal Premium +Peak 130-grain Terminal Ascent averaged 3,046 fps (Garmin Xero C1) and 3,051.9 fps (Athlon Rangecraft) from a 20-inch Browning X-Bolt Speed 2. Shooter app called 5.8 MOA at 402 yards; Nito dialed 5.75 MOA on the Tract Toric Ultra HD and center-punched an eighth-scale deer target's shoulder repeatedly. At 602 yards the app called 12 MOA of come-up — elevation was described as \"perfect\" on the first round, wi…
