Paired with a Tract Optics Toric 34mm 4.5-30x56 MOA ELR scope and a handloaded 121-grain Lehigh Defense Controlled Chaos bullet, it behaved like a long-range rig in a sporter-weight package. This was not a bench test under a bag on a covered concrete pad. Nito ran the rifle at the AP2020 Outdoors outdoor shooting range: a crude 100-yard zero, three shots to confirm, a chronograph reading, velocity dumped into his ballistic app, then a dial and a swing straight out to 381 yards on a Caldwell deer target with a kill zone he estimated at roughly eight inches by eight inches. What follows is the whole sequence — the zero, the velocity data, the elevation correction, the new X-Bolt II stock and bolt geometry, the glass, and the handload recipe that fed it. Key Takeaways The X-Bolt Speed 2 printed a three-shot 100-yard group Nito called \"at least an inch or under\" with handloaded 121-grain Lehigh Defense Controlled Chaos over IMR 4350. Chronograph data showed a 2,867 fps reading with a 2,879 fps average, cross-checked on a Rangecraft unit. Total elevation to 381 yards was 7 MOA — 6 MOA called by the ballistic app, p…
