It's built for handloaders who trim brass in volume and want a repeatable length they can verify with calipers. Nito of AP2020 Outdoors put one on the bench and ran it through a batch of 22-250 Improved brass, walking through the assembly, the set-screw adjustments, the micrometer stop, and the guard and brass-shavings catcher install. His setup ran about 20 minutes start to finish, and his target trim length was 1.892 inches — a number that matters, because he checked it with calipers on the first case out of the machine. What follows is the design breakdown and the practical workflow from that hands-on session, including the details most spec sheets leave out: which way the micrometer turns, what the Allen-head set screws actually control, and the one small tool that makes reinstalling the guard painless. Key Takeaways Nito reported roughly 20 minutes of setup from box to first trimmed case, and called the assembly experience \"pretty happy with how quickly it came together.\" Trim length is set by a micrometer adjust with a hard stop — clockwise shortens the trim length, counterclock…
