It carries an MSRP of $799, feeds from a two-round ambidextrous magazine, and ships directly to your door with no FFL transfer or paperwork, because it's an airgun, not a regulated firearm. In a 24-minute field review filmed on his property, the host of Mud Lake Ranch put the Primal 20 through slug accuracy testing at 30–35 yards, a 100-yard steel attempt, and shot-pattern work on wet cardboard at ranges from 10 feet out to 25 yards — all on a single platform running a Bear Creek Arsenal red dot off the factory Picatinny rail. The headline finding: the Primal 20 shoots slugs far better than most people expect from a 20-gauge airgun, and patterns shot far worse than most people would accept. Both results come down to the same two numbers — 500 PSI per shot and four full-power shots per fill. Key Takeaways A 4,000 PSI fill delivers roughly 500 PSI behind each shot — only four full-power shots before the Primal 20 needs re-pressurizing. Slugs grouped within an inch of each other at 30–35 yards and punched clean circles through particle board; a 100-yard steel attempt missed entirely. With the included Foster-style choke, the shot pattern opened to…
