If instructions are not followed in their entirety, upon inspection of the product your warranty may be null and void. 00:33 Clean work area Start with a clean work area with no ammunition present. 00:37 Major Components Major components include: 00:44 Tools Needed: IP-30 TORC+, 140 Inch Punch torque, T Handle(Fix It Sticks) 00:51 WARNING Barrels and bolts are all designated by caliber, however, magazines are designated by letter markings (A,B,C,D) Magazines also have a different number of ribs for easy differentiation between the different letter designations (FIGURE 23). Ensure the calibers/letters on these components match the table below: 01:00 Step 1 Ensure your rifle’s safety lever is in the safe position, 01:04 Step 2 2. Remove the magazine from the rifle by pushing the magazine catch forward and remove the magazine from the rifle. 01:11 Step 3 3.Lift the bolt handle upward, and pull it to the rear. This will eject any live or fired ammunition. 01:14 Step 4 4.  With the bolt fully to the rear and magazine removed, inspect the chamber. Ensure it is empty of any ammunition. 01:18 Step 5 5. Depress and hold the receiver latch, located on the underside of the lower receiver just behind the pistol grip. Pivot lower receiver away from upper. 01:24 Step 6 6. Remove the bolt assembly from the upper receiver 01:32 Step 7 7. With the bolt removed from the rifle, ensure that the cocking piece shroud is rotated to the cocked position. Rotate the cocking piece lever forward until it rests against the cocking piece shroud. Rotate the cocking piece shroud counter clockwise 120 degrees (FIGURE 16-A) and withdraw from the bolt body (FIGURE 16-B). DO NOT DECOCK THE LEVER WITH THE FIRING PIN ASSEMBLY REMOVED FROM THE BOLT BODY TUBE. Push the bolt pin (FIGURE 18-A) to the side of the bolt assembly. Note that the bolt pin is retained in the bolt body and does not need to be completely removed. Remove the bolt from the bolt tube. 01:59 WARNING MRAD BARREL CONVERSION KITS ARE PROPERLY HEADSPACED AT THE FACTORY. DO NOT INTERCHANGE BOLTS FROM OTHER BARRELS, EVEN WITHIN THE SAME LETTER GROUP. 02:09 Step 8 8. Reassemble the bolt assembly using the bolt that was included with matching barrel in barrel conversion kit. Assembly is in the reverse order of its removal. 02:31 Step 9 9. Reinstall the bolt assembly into the upper receiver and close the receivers; leaving the bolt open. 02:52 Step 10 10.With the bolt to the rear, loosen the two barrel screws using a IP-30 Torx Plus® wrench. 03:15 Step 11 11.Remove the barrel of the previous caliber from the upper receiver and insert the barrel of the desired caliber. 03:23 Step 12 12. (Continued from above) Note the position of indexing slot in the barrel extension; ensure it engages the indexing pin in the upper receiver as the barrel is fully seated. 03:43 Step 13 13. Push the bolt handle forward, then down. 03:52 Step 14 14.  Torque the two barrel screws to 140 in/lbs.
