See NicTaylor00's Hunting Channel on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/TexasNative00 This video will go over the procedure on installing Dawson Precision Competition Fixed Sight set on the Glock 17 9mm Pistol. If you are not comfortable with filling on your new parts and potentially ruining them, then you should have a gunsmith install the parts for you. Installing pistol sights can be a pain in the rear. Most after market sights do not come with any tools to remove or install the sights leaving you to fend for yourself or pay a gunsmith to do the work. Dawson precision sights come with an aluminum punch so that you are better equipped to install the new sights on your own. However, I took it a step farther and purchased the VISM, a division of NcSTAR, sight press. With this low cost tool it make removing and installing sights much easier. However, in any case you will most likely have to fit the new sight to the gun.
