On September 2, 1945 the Japanese Instrument of Surrender was formally signed aboard the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay, the official end to the war in the Pacific. As we commemorate the 75th anniversary, we look back at the events of December 7th 1941 which led to the United States’ formal entry into WWII. Last December Best Defense Foundation had the honor of bringing 5 Pearl Harbor survivors back to Honolulu to participate in the ceremony recognizing those who were lost that day. it’s an honor for us to be able to share their stories with you. .
