        <description>It doesn’t need to be complicated, so don’t make it that way. Remedial action is one of two ways to break down your malfunction/ stoppage in a firearm, the other being immediate action. Immediate action is your colloquial “tap, rack, bang” and is essentially check your ammo source, cycle the action, and get back after it. Fast, simple, and can resolve a good number of issues. Remedial comes in play when either immediate action doesn’t work, or cannot work.
