https://greyhive.com/videos/watch/a882feb2-d987-4b9f-aad8-7be36414a098 Guys, the time has come to say goodbye to the PTR 9SDM-B. A huge thank you to Not Just Guns for sending out a demo so I could get some hands-on time with this unique platform. After spending time behind the trigger, I wanted to put together a quick video covering what I liked, what I didn't like, and whether I think it's worth considering if you're in the market for one. Overall, I think PTR did an excellent job with the 9SDM-B. The platform brings a modern take on the classic MP5SD concept with a ported barrel and purpose-built suppressor system designed for maximum sound reduction. PTR also incorporated several modern features and improvements that help set it apart from traditional SD-style builds. That said, no firearm is perfect, and there are definitely a few areas where I think PTR left room for improvement. In this video, I'll break down both the pros and cons based on my personal experience with the gun. Have you had a chance to shoot a PTR 9SDM-B yet? If so, what were your thoughts? Are you planning on picking one up, or are you sticking with another MP5 or MP5SD-style platform? Drop your thoughts in the comments below. I'd love to hear what you think!
