<description>In this video Jared from Otis Technology demonstrates how to clean modern inline muzzleloaders, including the CVA Optima V2 .50cal and the CVA Accura LR-X .50 Caliber Muzzleloaders. In this video he demonstrates detailed cleaning methods for popular platforms and high-performance propellants used in today's version of primative hunting. A combination of products from Otis Technology and Shooter's Choice were utilized in this video to properly address cleaning after use of modern propellants such as Blackhorn 209, Pyrodex Pellets, Triple7, or Whitehots. Unlike traditional black powder, Pyrodex, or Triple Seven—which are water-soluble and require water-based or soap-and-water cleanerssuch as Shooter's Choice Bio Bore Cleaner —Blackhorn 209 is a modern, non-corrosive carbon-based propellant which should be cleaned using oil-based or petroleum-based gun cleaners like Shooter's Choice MC-7, Shooter's Choice Foaming Bore Cleaner or FP-10 CLP.
