In this video, we take a closer look at the CAT magnetic red dot mount for pistols and test whether it can really hold zero, stay attached under recoil, and function as a realistic alternative to a traditional optics cut slide. After our original reel went viral, there were a lot of questions, skepticism, and concerns, so we decided to put the system to the test.

We tested the mount at multiple distances, removed and reattached the optic between groups, and evaluated point of impact consistency, grouping size, retention strength, and overall practicality. We also discuss the advantages and limitations of this system compared to a permanently mounted pistol red dot setup.

Could this magnetic red dot mount be a practical solution for older handguns without an optics cut, or is it just another gimmick?

The IWB holster is designed for practical concealed carry, with options for a single FOMI clip or dual tuckable hooks, plus an optional soft outer lining for improved comfort.
