Valmet RK 62/76, the transferable Finnish AK
This was a Finish RK62/76 we rescued and restored, Rynnäkkökivääri 62/76, was once the Finnish Defense Force’s standard issued infantry weapon, most imported into the US were chambered in 223/5.56×45, however, on a rare occasion 7.62×39 was imported as well. This particular Valmet was one of the 7.62×39 imported and later registered as a machine gun before May 1986.

Fun fact, the IMI Galil design is largely based on the RK 62, earlier Galil shared the same receiver as the RK 62.
