Should we work on 1-handed shooting and if so, how often? How much? There are real practical applications for this shooting technique but the chances of having to use it are even more slim than drawing your gun in the first place. However, just as we train for worst-case 1% type scenarios, we need to hone in on sub-skill sets as well. There are more important skill sets to work on but if we’re not trying stuff out on the range, then trying it out in a real-world situation for the first time will almost likely set us up for failure. You don’t need to spend a ton of time and ammo on 1-handed shooting but we absolutely do need to have a basic understanding of what it feels like and whether it’s something we could use in our daily pattern of life, depending on your work & personal life. Dryfire is your friend! Cheers!
